A place to share my thoughts and my life with the ones I love
Red Roses
Once a year, usually in October my boss, gives all of us a dozen roses. This year was no exception.
Serving at the Ronald McDonald House
Monday, Sept 29th our small group Bible study served supper for the guests at the Ronald McDonald House. Here is some of our group!
Deb & I
Deb and I went to the Metrodome and watched the Twins beat the Kansas City Royals 6-0 on Sunday. Don't we look like true Twins fans?
Nathan and Eva at Oxbow Park
I took the day off from work on Friday, Sept. 26th and Nate and the girls and I went to Oxbow Park which is a little park north of my place here. Oxbow Park has a few animals whch the girls enjoyed. The weather was gorgeous which made the day even better!
Ashleigh at Oxbow Park
Even though Ashleigh wasn't wearing a "pony tail" the day at Oxbow Park, she still had to check out a different "pony tail"

Hello everyone! This is a new venture for me! I'll try and post happenings in my life to try and keep everyone up to date.
Hello Bev. So . . . this means I have to upgrade my computer literacy if I'm to "keep track" of you??? I've managed to keep my computer skills pretty basic but it seems these things just keep developing and getting more and more inter-tangled (connected). Of course, this just gives you something else to do when you're at work and can't find anything really productive that you actually WANT to do, right? Dan N
While in Austin we found out that the TV program "Extreme Makeover" was doing a home near Austin so we drove out and checked it out. I think it is ging to be airing in December from what was said.
Purses
This isn't the best picture but it shows the purses that I've made and had on a craft sale at my friend, Deb's on Saturday, Sept. 27th.
First Day of Fall
Today is the first day of fall even though the weather in MN doesn't seem like it so it is time to get out the fall decorations. We've had nice warm weather the past week after our cool start to September.
Eva and Ashleigh
Eva started walking a couple weeks ago and has discovered a whole new way of life trying to keep up with her big sister.
Earned a GPS
One of the insurance companies that I write for had a promotion and for anyone wrote 25 policies with them between April 1 and July 31, then they would give you a GPS. I was the only one in our agency to receive one. The company was at the office today and delivered my Garmin GPS to me. Now I just have to figure out how to use it. Pretty sure I don't need it for the seven miles into the office each day!
Purses
I've been making purses and have sold several already. This is four of the ten I already have done. My friend Deb has a craft sale the end of September and she asked me to put some purses on her sale so another new adventure for me. I'm selling them for $25 and the insides are all totally lined with lots of pockets!
Eva in the new stock pot
Nate and Leigh bought some new pots and pans and they seem to be just the right size for Eva
Grandma with Ashleigh & Eva
Grandma's back there somewhere with Ashleigh and Eva. Even though Eva's looking for a way out.
Jim, Mom, Dad and I @ Jeni's wedding
Jeni Douglass got married Aug. 2nd near Greenville, OH. This picture was taken at the reception.
Eva's one year old!
Aren't I cute?
Ashleigh's dress
I made Ashleigh a "poofy" dress and she had just gotten done running through the sprinkler but had to try the dress on for me. I entered this dress in the Dodge County fair and got a blue ribbon!
My 3rd floor high rise
This is my apartment building and I'm on the top floor. I have a great view of the surrounding neighbors and the Byron Elementary school behind me.
quilting friends
Bonnie, Debbie, Michelle, myself & Ivy went on a quilt shop hop on Saturday, Aug 9th. We left Rochester at 9:15 a.m., went to quilt shops in Stewartville, Racine, and Spring Valley where this picture was taken. We then went to Hayward which is over between Austin and Albert Lea and then up to Owatonna. What a great time of fun we had! There is talk that we will even do it again.
