Deb & I

Deb & I
Deb and I went to the Metrodome and watched the Twins beat the Kansas City Royals 6-0 on Sunday. Don't we look like true Twins fans?

Ashleigh at Oxbow Park

Ashleigh at Oxbow Park
Even though Ashleigh wasn't wearing a "pony tail" the day at Oxbow Park, she still had to check out a different "pony tail"

Garrett, Haley & Natalie

I made these blankets for Cheryl's children. Garrett is six, Haley is four and Natalie will be two in December. Cheryl said the kids were all laying on the living room floor with their blankets and had to take a picture for me. I'm going to Portland for Thanksgiving so I'm sure you'll be seeing more pictures of them!

C -- 2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Cream A, add B, beat together. Add C.

Put in 10x15" cookie sheet pan and bake 350 for 12-15 minutes. Do not overbake.

Frosting: 1/4 c. margarine
2/3 c. peanut butter
2 c. powdered sugar
few drops of milk

Mix together and spread on cooled bars.
My mother-in-law, LaVonne, gave me this recipe years ago. In fact it is still in my recipe box in her handwriting on a piece of notebook paper. If I would re-write it and put it on a recipe card, I probably wouldn't know what I was looking for so I just leave it the way it is. I make these bars for church quite often and anyone who likes peanut butter really likes these bars. If you have a craving for peanut butter, try these! Enjoy!
